Elton John was invited to the program October 25, 1977 to sing with them their catchy " Crocodile Rock ."

And November 23 of that year was with Julie Andrews with whom he sang all his famous " Lonely Goatherd" from the movie "The Sound of Music ."

Harry Belafonte and his song "Banana Boat " starred the Muppets one of the most brilliant numbers the November 8, 1978 .

The November 21 of that year, all of whom sang Danny Kaye " Inchworm," a beautiful song taken of the film "The Fabulous Andersen. "

And John Denver was surrounded by them all to sing together " Grandma's feather bed " the April 24, 1979 .
