Mount And Blade Female Skins

Joyeux anniversaire, Marcel! Trademark

Among my childhood treasures that I keep most fondly highlighted always "Beech " and "A happy day ," both written by Pearl S. Buck :

These two books brought the Kings to me when I was small and included two other magical stories, " The Ghost of Christmas "and" The wonderful night .

Stories that since then, I've read over and over again. But I almost liked the beautiful illustrations that adorn this reading ...

Over time, I became interested in the artist's so magical illustrations. Because he knew his name, Marcel Marlier .
Marcel Marlier is an artist and illustrator born November 18, 1930 ago today 80 years, Herseaux (Belgium). age of 16 decided to enroll in decorative art Saint-Luc de Tournai . Finishing his studies with the greatest distinction, returned there as a teacher two years later.

Interested in finding talented artists to illustrate books for children of school age, the Belgian publication " The Try à Namur" organized a drawing contest. Marcel was presented to it and won.
From this resulted in two books, "Je lis avec Michel et Nicole " and "Je calculate avec Michel et Nicole, who guided a generation of children in Belgium during its first five years school. Marlier The subsequent collaboration with " The Try à Namur" lasted more than 25 years.
Casterman, a Belgian publisher, knew in 1951 Marlier drawings and offered to be the illustrator of children's books.

In 1954, Marcel Marlier began illustrating books by Gilbert Delahaye on one character, Martine , a girl of eight years.
